I am an experienced team leader with a diverse range of technical ability, and experience for hand-on approaches as well as management from requirement gathering to deployment. I consider myself well organised, and result oriented with a drive to implement standards/procedures/processes that improve cohesion within teams.
I commit to high quality launches of projects/services, whilst maintaining a strong motivational role within teams to maximise the productivity achieved. Outside of work I enjoy a number of hobbies and interests like swimming, cycling, snooker, photography, and golf.
The Computer Science BSc degree will equip me with transferable technical, analytical and
professional skills backed by a broad awareness of current technology trends.
Through my studies I gained the expertise necessary to analyse problems and program
appropriate computer-based solutions.

#PartnerRelationships
The Alacrity Foundation provided me with an intensive training course with mentors
and partners to prepare me for entrepreneurship in the technology sector. During the
programme I developed product management, commercialisation and entrepreneurial skills, and
in addition to this applied learning. I was mentored by experts and senior executives in a
variety of fields, such as Terry Matthews, Simon Gibson, and David Stevens (COO Admiral
Insurance).
Interacting with customers/partners from an array of backgrounds became second
nature, regardless of status (COO of Venda, CTO of Benbria, Head of Development in Equifax &
Fujitsu, Head of People Insights in Sky). Partner relationships were initiated, agreed, and
maintained within the UK and US on reseller and ISV based contracts, respectively. These
agreements are still active and flourishing throughout different teams within Alacrity.
Technically my skills were vastly expanded in a short time and I quickly became
proficient in LAMP development along with basic JavaScript server/client side coding
(Angular, Express, MongoDB). The majority of development included PHP (CodeIgniter with
Doctrine2, Laravel, MySQL) and front-end development (CSS3, JS, HTML5, Angular), where I
consider my skills to be most effective.
Testing software (CodeCeption, Selenium, PHPUnit), aligned with TDD were utilised
along with version control (SVN & GIT) to aid in management/tracking of implemented code.
Teamwork was vital in Alacrity, therefore Scrum and other agile methodologies were utilised
throughout my time here.

At Ulitix we provided self-service predictive analytics to reduce organisational
workload and, in turn increase productivity. This was achieved by our product DataSeer. A
cloud-based solution that takes an upload of data, cleans, and organises that data which
produces a risk indication, depending on the scenario that is to be investigated.
In adjunct analytics markets Ulitix attempted to disrupt the traditional employee
engagement market by offering and supporting a product called Teamphoria (Teamphoria.com)
developed by Sparc, the fastest growing software company in America.

RMP Enterprise creates opportunities for organisations and institutions to engage,
inform and interact with young people looking to take the first steps in their career. This
is facilitated via a number of informative websites that have been created by the
Development team at RMP. The flagship site is RateMyPlacement, which is used by over 400k
members and works with RMP Connect, which is used for data capture and target marketing.
Other sites include RateMyApprenticeship, NSE Challenge, and On Campus Promotions.
At RMP I am responsible for development on all the sites above. This includes
working on the backend code as well as the deployment, server-side management, and API
integrations. Development is carried out using an Agile mentality.
The latest technologies are used throughout all projects undertaken, such as Zapier,
VueJs, and Capistrano for deployments.
As a team of six (en counting) we are responsible for all things technical. This
encompasses all of our websites as well as internal products used by Sales, Product, and
Marketing teams.

Working on multiple in-house web projects to help automate and aid company
processes across all departments. The main project being Sniffr Media (Laravel, and Vue),
a licensing platform tool for viral videos, which contains a plethora of features.
Another platform is the Insights (Laravel) tool that is used to scrape data from
all social platforms to enable better visualisation of viral post performances.
Functionality includes sentiment analysis, graphing tools, and API integration with
Facebook, and Instagram.
Further projects include a CMS platform for social influencers that is used in-house
to manage, and search influence's best suited for a campaign.
